Click on map for larger viewWest Virginia coals generally contained 20-40 ppm bromine on a whole coal basis with low Br in Pittsburgh and Redstone coal samples in Lewis, Upshur, Barbour and Harrison counties of north central WV.  Highest Br samples located in Webster County were in the Sewell coal.
