Most of these records were updated 7.5'-scale locations and quadrangles for wells for which only 15'-scale locations were previously available. New well location records added to the database totaled 1,670. |
| OWNERS/COMPLETIONS: Records were added for nearly 2,000 current well completions. |
| PAYS/SHOWS/WATER: More than 3,700 data records were added to the database, mostly for recently completed wells. |
| STRATIGRAPHY: Nearly 10,000 records were added or edited, many for current well completions. |
| PRODUCTION: The 2006 monthly and annual well production data reported by operators for more than 47,000 wells were added to the database. Nine thousand additional production records received from the State regulatory authority were added for production reported by operators from 2001 through 2005. |
| MECHANICAL LOG CATALOG: 209 new records were added to the MLC table. For previously available records, the "Scanned Logs" field has been updated to reflect the availability of a digital scanned log (TIFF file) for more than 8,500 wells, mostly for logs scanned for wells in the Berea, Venango, Bradford, Elk, and Tuscarora plays; the top and bottom depths of specific scanned logs have been entered into the database for logs recently scanned. Additionally, logs have been digitized and relevant database fields updated for more than 75 wells. |
| PLUG: More than 500 plugging records were added or updated since the previous release. |
| WELL SAMPLES AND CORES: Eight new records have been added and 7 records have been modified. |
