Trace Elements in West Virginia Coals
The
geographic distribution of whole coal cadmium shows a generally uniform
<0.2 ppm cadmium in coals statewide. Slightly higher values are indicated
in the south central West Virginia counties where Allegheny and upper Kanawha
coals containing the most cadmium are mined.
