Studying Weathering in the Classroom
   - Abrasion

      - Mass a piece of limestone, sandstone, and shale

- Place in a plastic container with a lid

- Shake the container

- Mass the rocks and compare values

- Repeat process

   - Abrasion in Water

      - Soak the piece of limestone, sandstone, and shale overnight in water

- Mass the rocks and compare the values to the dry "weights"

- Place in a plastic container

- Shake container 100 times and mass the rocks

- Repeat this five more times

- Graph the results for each of the rocks

   - Frost Wedging

      - Place the rocks in a freezer overnight

- Remove in the morning and let them "thaw"

- Mass and refreeze

- Repeat this process

- Compare the results for the three rocks
