Biographical Sketch of Roy S. Sites
Since January 1988, Roy Sites has been affiliated with the Virginia Division of Mineral Resources where he currently works as a
geologist senior. During the two decades of his professional career, Roy has done it all--from oil and gas exploration to
managing to mud logging. Roy earned his BS, MS, and Ph.D. degrees from West Virginia University with his specialty being
structural geology. While an undergraduate student, Roy worked part-time for the West Virginia Geological and Economic Survey.
